Committees & Cells
To ensure effective governance, student welfare, and quality assurance, Sentraya Perumal College of Education has constituted various statutory and supporting committees as per NCTE, TNTEU, and Government of Tamil Nadu norms. These committees function with transparency, accountability, and student-centric focus.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The IQAC is responsible for maintaining and enhancing academic quality within the institution. It monitors teaching–learning processes, faculty performance, student outcomes, and institutional best practices, and promotes continuous improvement.
Anti-Ragging Committee
The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures a ragging-free campus. It strictly enforces anti-ragging regulations and takes immediate action against any violation, thereby safeguarding students’ dignity and well-being.
Grievance Redressal Committee
This committee addresses academic and administrative grievances of students and staff in a fair and confidential manner. It ensures timely resolution of issues and promotes a harmonious campus environment.
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
The Internal Complaints Committee is constituted to prevent and address issues related to harassment, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members of the institution, in compliance with statutory guidelines.
Discipline Committee
The Discipline Committee monitors student conduct and ensures adherence to the code of conduct, institutional rules, and ethical standards. It promotes discipline, responsibility, and professional behaviour among student teachers.
Admission Committee
The Admission Committee oversees the admission process to ensure transparency, merit-based selection, and strict adherence to government reservation policies and university regulations.
Student Welfare Committee
This committee focuses on student support services, mentoring, counselling, and welfare activities. It works to create a supportive academic environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
Examination Committee
The Examination Committee coordinates internal assessments, practical examinations, and university examination processes in accordance with TNTEU regulations, ensuring fairness and academic integrity.
Health & Safety Committee
The Health & Safety Committee ensures a safe, hygienic, and secure campus environment by monitoring health measures, safety practices, and emergency preparedness.
